During the Korean War, there was a remote small mountain village called Dongmo Village near Gangwon Road. The people there are isolated from the outside world and live a self-sufficient life, unaware that there is a war going on outside. Biao Hyun chul (Shin Ha-kyun) of the Korean National Army and Wen Shang Sang Sang (Xu Zaiqing), a health worker, came to Dongmo Village because of escaping from camp and falling behind. At the same time, Li Xiuhua (Zheng Jae yong) of the Korean People's Army, veteran Zhang Rongxi (Im Ha-ryong) and young soldier Xu Zeji also arrived at Dongmo Village. Prior to this, due to a plane crash, American pilot Captain Smith (played by Stephen Tyler) also came to the village.When the soldiers from both sides met, their swords were drawn and their swords were drawn. Later, the tense confrontation gradually calmed down and they did not invade each other, but there was still a lot of hostility. In contact with the simple villagers, the soldiers became accustomed to the peaceful life in Dongmo Village. Later, even if the flames of war descended on the village, the soldiers on both sides decided to shoulder the task of defending Dongmo Village.
