Roberto (Shi Tian) lives with his mother in New York's Chinatown. At the age of 30, Roberto has become a romantic and has no intention of starting a family. His mother cannot bear his vagrancy and has issued an ultimatum to force him to marry a Chinese girl. Roberto had to return to Hong Kong and defected to his aunt, where he and his cousin Zhang Dagoer (played by Zeng Zhiwei) launched a plan to pursue a woman. Big guy is obsessed with female star Lin Xiaoxia (played by Zhang Tianai). He deliberately shows off Roberto's advanced experience in chasing women abroad in front of his cousin, and wins the qualification to approach Lin Xiaoxia through a bowling match. Since then, the two have had a heated fight, and the big guy's plan has been put aside. Restaurant waiter Ahua (Liu Lanxi) fell in love with Roberto at first sight, and the latter also took the opportunity to contact Ahua. Unexpectedly, Lin Xiaoxia saw through and left. Roberto tried to recover his relationship with the female star, while Ahua also played a backtrack game with Roberto under his father's guidance.

羅伯圖（石天飾）和母親生活在紐約的唐人街，年届三十的羅伯圖風流成性毫無成家的打算，老母不能忍受他的浪蕩下了逼他與中國姑娘結婚的最後通牒。 羅伯圖只得返回香港，投奔姑媽，與表弟張大個兒（曾志偉飾）展開追女計畫。 大個兒癡迷女明星林小霞（張天愛飾），存心在表弟面前炫耀的羅伯圖展示國外追女先進經驗，以保齡球對決贏得接近林小霞的資格，二人自此打得火熱，大個兒中計反被晾在一邊。 餐廳服務生阿花（劉藍溪飾）對羅伯圖一見鍾情，後者也借機與阿花接觸，豈料被林小霞看破，拂袖而去，羅伯圖盡力挽回和女明星的關係，同時阿花也在父親的教授下對羅伯圖開展了一場倒追好戲。
